Valora is soft-spoken and wise, with a great love for hatchlings. She is a trusted advisor to Melisande and the one most directly in charge of the care of the clans hatchlings. She watches over the nests and teaches the young ones. Because of her migratory nature, she is often away from the clan. One of her duties is to act as a guide for the hatchlings she brings with her on her journey's, she teaches them about the other Flights and the world outside their Lair. She can spend anywhere from a month to a year on these journey's, depending on how many young ones she has with her and how greatly she is needed at the main lair.
