Zhavershtekn or Rust Stick as he is commonly called hails from a prominent clan that has been competing against Raphael’s stranglehold on the market in their area. Despite this his family has flourished and part of this is due to the fact that his ancestors have associated with the Order in the past. It is not uncommon for their customers to be members of the Order who find Raphael unpleasant to deal with. He’s taken over control of the trading family at a rather young age and has continued in his greatfather’s attempts to make a deal with the aggravating Skydancer. He has met with Daku several times and while he does not care for Raphael at all he does not find Daku completely impossible to deal with.

It has been a while since he’s first started attempting negotiations with the Order’s financial manager but recently he has met with Daku and for the first time he see’s a brighter future for his business and perhaps even a chance to move up in the ranks for the Order. He’s going to enjoy seeing Raphael’s face when he realizes how the tables have turned.

He is very fond of Lily and he worries about her encounters with Ahriman. He has heard rumors that make him more and more uneasy when he see’s Lily heading off to find her. His negotiations with Daku have allowed him to meet Sangre, one of the Enforcers of the Niharika Sanctuary and what he may learn from the red imperial may lead to him attempting to separate Lily and Ahriman for good ...
