Dapper

This Dapper Snapper has a story about how he became to be.

Whilst browsing through the auction house, Commz spotted a very dark shaded snapper up for sale. They exchanged glances, had a little chat, however Commz did not have the treasure to convince him to join her lair. She promised to come back, taking a picture of him after noting that he would be there for a few days.

However, she returned the next day to find him gone. She was about to let it go, but something told her not to give up. So, she took to the skies, asking her friends and in other lairs, however none of them knew anything about him.

In a final push, she asked the winds, releasing the picture she had of the dapper snapper. Her final attempt completed, she returned to her lair.

Time passed slowly, all Commz could think about was the snapper. Blitz stayed with her, being moral support, keeping her fed and comfortable knowing she was downtrodden.

Just when all hope felt lost, a dragon appeared at the entrance to the lair. In his claws he clutched two pictures, one of them the picture Commz had sent out and the other of The Dapper Snapper. He mentioned his location, what lair he had eventually gone to, suggesting she asked there to see if he was able to be exchanged.

Commz took off immediately, flying far to the lair. However, nobody was home. She quickly scrawled down a message, leaving it at the entrance before returning home to continue the waiting game.

It was a few more days before a message was returned to her, and to her delight she was able to gain the snapper she had seen in the auction. Smiling, Dapper was glad to join, his red eyes like fire as he picked out his outfit and donned his trusty monocle. Soon after his arrival, his servant Jeeves found him. Now they both represent the classy side of Freelance Mountain.

The OOC story

I saw Dapper in the auction house but didn't have the coins to buy him, so I took a screenshot and left him there to get the coins but by the time I had acquired them he was gone.

I was going to leave it but my friends suggested I looked around for him, none of them had seen him so I made a last attempt bid in the dragon finding forums.

Few days later someone posted that they'd possibly found him and directed me to the user that had bought him. After a quick message I had to go away, but when I got back I found a message from the user saying I could have him for his Auction price (10K), so I agreed and now he sits pride of place with Jeeves and Duncan.

I really should breed him, he's got some really nice monochrome colours.
