Greetings. My name is Vito Ascham. You most certainly came here by clicking on an image of my son, Sachial*, but I'm the record-keeper in this 'verse. If you wandered into Sachial's office, you'd either meet your fate beneath a toppled stack of notebooks or find yourself smited by one of his impassioned diatribes. If he ever manages to ensnare you in one of those, get him talking about pie. It'll distract him, I'd stake my life on it.
I mentioned I was an Intellectual, yes? My current Assignment is as record-keeper for the place I originate, known affectionately by the Writer as "The Faultverse." Oh, you aren't familiar with Writer? She's our creator. The Faultverse exists only on the printed page, and she's currently working to complete an account of all our lives in such a form. I suppose she's the true record-keeper in this scenario, hehe.
For the time being, all I can tell you about the Faultverse is that she's in the process of polishing Book One, as well as editing Book Two and drafting Book Three. On pages 5 and 6 of this lair, however, you'll find the inhabitants of the Faultverse in dragon form. If you're an artist and would be interested in drawing any of us, human or dragon, feel free to send Writer a link to your art shop or price sheet--she's rather fond of commissioning art of us, though she may not reply if she's short on funds at the moment.
I hope to have more information to share with you in the near future, for Writer is determined to start sending out Book One manuscripts by the end of this summer season. I, as Assigned, will keep track of her progress here, where we take the form of so-called "dergs."
