The dragon she was before is long gone. At one point she was a gorgeous red and pink skydancer, but she fell victim to Warlock's experiments. She had died, and it was Magissa that brought her back. A freakish experiment that went wrong. She moves, her heart beats, and she can talk but she is strange. She feels no emotions. She does not understand though she tries so hard.
She was turned into a heartless warrior, whee it does not matter if she dies, because she can be brought back. Except, each time, her humanity is pushed further and further from her reach. She is a perfect weapon.
Though she does not understand emotion or attachments, she is a curious dragon. She can not die, so she finds herself exploring a lot of things she shouldn't. She also shows a deep attachment to Magissa, often seen trailing after her or offering her body and organs for her to use. When Magissa is threatened, Valentine can become vicious and dangerous, defending the necromancer tooth and nail.
