As the end of battle was close at hand and Lapis was delivering the final blow to the Featherback Boar Sapphire saw the baby Featherback on the far side of the field. She gathered her courage and as the large Featherback was falling she dashed across the battlefield. With great agility she passed the battle and grabbed the young Featherback picking it up wrestling with it so she again crossed the field to her colleagues to great cheers. As they headed back to the lair recounting the stories of their heroic battle word passed ahead to the lair. Upon their arrival they were greeted with great cheers of amazement and as Sapphire rode the final distance on the shoulders of her friends in the lair. The baby Featherback was in tow and when all had gathered and the crowd had quieted she was honored for her heroics and the rest of the day was sitting around enjoying good food and drink while the stories of the battle were regaled through the night.
