Biography
Yaluk, the lone Pearlcatcher whom watches over the resting old dragons as they come through the Old Oaks Meadow. Here he resides until another comes to take his place and he is able to retire. Although mateless, unlike his fellow clan mates, he is still very happy and at peace with his role in the clan. Most days he can be found foraging, fishing, hunting, or gathering food for the elder dragons while they rest to regain their strength and energy. Other days when there is plenty of food readily available he can be seen making and serving the old dragons tea to help them relax during their stay here among the ancient oak trees. When Yaluk isn't tending to the old dragons he is tending to the ancient oaks in order to make sure they are healthy and strong. After all the oaks didn't grow to be so ancient all on their own. They had help from all of the old oaks caretakers before Yaluk. When Yaluk is ready to retire from his role here, another will take his spot. Until then Yaluk is happy just where he is, even if he does miss his clan dearly at times.
