Bird was first seen by Michael, the clan's Leader, while being sold at the Auction House. At first, he tried to stray away from her large, endearing eyes but he eventually gave in, scrounging as many Gems as he could to be able to afford her and bring her home. He fell in love with how small she was and how quick she was to become his own, curling around his tail and making this small "peep" noises at him. It quickly became apparent that she could not speak, becoming the second Spiral to join the clan that did not know how.
Michael loved her all the same and soon settled on naming her Bird. She never stopped peeping as she grew up. While this never bothered Michael, his husband Jacques would always try teaching her to speak. She never made any attempts and though no one is aware, she only continues because she knows it cheers everyone up around her. Bird now is the official clan Helper. Some days, she is watching over nests or hatchlings.. some days, she helps Anatoli with her potions.. and some days she's just needed to help brighten someone's mood. She tends to get along with most every dragon, not ever understanding that some dragons out there mean ill will towards her. She is very innocent-minded, automatically assuming everyone is her friend from the start, never forgetting a face. She will coil around her new friend and want them to never leave. It is because of this that she had to learn the hard way about Patientia, the monster-dragon in the cavern. Bird never understood why Michael wouldn't let her go down there but after seeing how terrified he was, she figured it was for the best. Though sometimes, she drops any toys she gets from gathering down there, thinking maybe the thing down there just needs something to play with. |

Bird is almost always found hanging around her adoptive father, Michael, curled around his neck or tail and peeping happily at him. She also has a tendency to hide herself in his chest fluff and sleep. He is the only one who has learned how to speak Bird. She understands him when he speaks, and he understands her. If she is not with him, she may be around her other father, Jacques, though he does not understand her as well as his husband does.
Her room consists of birds that were collected for food but she wanted to keep as pets, as well as various soft things and shiny gems. She has quite the collection stashed away, a collection so few have seen. Michael is a frequent visitor that she drags in to show her new treasures to when she returns home, as well as Zido and Jacques. Her favorite time to go out and collect things is early in the morning, so she can enjoy the purple skies while she digs around for shiny rocks or anything else that catches her attention at the time, stopping only for a snack before twisting back around trees to start her search again. She hopes one day when she goes out, she will stumble across a Candycane Xolo, she wants one more than anything in the world. |
