Biography

Zenith
Clan Skirmisher(and general nuisance)
Theme Song: Digital Shift III

Even those who never heard of the clan heard of Zenith, the Arcane Hurricane. But not for good reason, or even for her mysterious ability to see planes of information that no one can understand.

Zenith explores high and low with her teammates for treasure and monsters to hunt, and somehow still finds time to pull pranks on nearly every clan she comes across. Unfortunately, she is also an incredibly skilled fighter, meaning other dragons have yet to teach her a lesson before she takes off, dropping most of her unused bats in boxes, Mimic Dust letters and noisy toys along the way.

The Arcane Hurricane doesn't approve of unfair behavior from others, however, and bullied younger dragons might find a mulberry blur snatching their tormentors away to the nearest lake or mud pile before disappearing again.

If she's at her clan, however, she prefers to help Rust with research using her new findings - with her own little side project of discovering the truth behind Corvid.

Early Life

Zenith's true origins are quite a mystery. She was accepted into the clan by Orchid during a battle for Dominance between Arcane and other Flights to the north, though even to this day the Guardian admits she shouldn't have traveled during such a fierce battle. Orchid was given the hatchling by two restless dragons at Windstar Bay who only quickly said "You need her more than we do" and flew into an incoming storm without an explanation, never to be seen again.

But the Skydancer didn't want to grow crops with Winterberry or listen to Hazel's lessons for her first few months, and soon after her odd ability to see into planes unknown became obvious. She would smack weak monsters near the clan around talking about "optimal experience gain", grab items off the floor and describe its "flavor text", and scare visitors with her theories about clan energy being linked to finding gems on the ground. Zenith would play with other hatchlings like nothing weird came out of her mouth, and luckily she wasn't shunned even after the umpteenth time she described their affinity with their Familiars to a percentage.

Try as they might, none of the other soon-to-be elders knew what was up with her, and Zenith was just as clueless as to what she was talking about. Though she became a powerful warrior over the years, her visions changed her perception of the world for the worse as well, and she soon started using her dexterity and foresight to play pranks on nearly everyone around her, and frequently cause property damage and injuries during her research of the week. No lectures or upset adults could correct it, and the few times she was caught she'd respond with "It's fine, I didn't affect anyone's stats or energy!".

Even though many dragons want to see her gone, none can bring themselves to speak up aside from Octave; with her powers and skills, she could be just the right person to save the clan someday.

Abilities
While normal dragons can only tap into leylines to use stronger magic than the usual, Zenith can see into things no creature of Sornieth should be able to. Like signs held up near the target, she can see their "statistics", and sometimes even short text accompanying their properties. She learned to control how much she wants to see in these visions mostly, but any slight changes in her mood or leyline disruptions can increase the information at a whim, and she usually can't resist reading it all and even saying it aloud.

Familiar
Whiskers is her Dark-Tufted Sparrowmouse. As mischievous as Zenith, it's part of her plans frequently to steal trinkets and lure her "victims" to sticky cobweb or feather-and-glue traps. Though she loves it very much, the absent-minded Skydancer often forgets Whiskers in other clans, prompting her to dart right back and rescue the little guy just barely.

Personal Room
Zenith more or less lives on her stash of trinkets and research items. The location of her sleeping area is a mystery, and sometimes she just slumps over a pile of books if she's tired enough. The only tidy area in her room is her training equipment, where she practices her magical Gossamer Flame technique - the manipulation of Arcane fire and smoke that allows her to escape tight situations, including enraged neighboring clans.
