Kylar Stern, Assassin for the Lightweaver clans.

Quiet, composed, and monk-like. Word behind her back is that she has a heart like the ice of her home flight.

Kylar lived in an impovised clan, and wished for nothing more than the power to keep those she cared about safe from the cruel harm of others. The assasins in these slums were the most powerful dragons, and commanded the respect and safety she so coveted. She became an apprentice, and then a powerful killer on her own right.

Her well kept secret is that she cares quite a bit. She does extensive research on the character of the target before agreeing to kill, and has always taken a solemn horror in the finality of death. Forms strong bonds of friendship with her master and those around her despite her masters constant warnings. "Above all else, duty to my clan."

With the lightweaver's decree that Imperials are a mistake, Kylar is questioning all she held sacred. She knows Imperials, has served for and with these great dragons. She knows what such a statement means for assassins, and now must make a choice - betray her God and city, or fully dedicate to her career.

She has chosen to betray all she knows, and now works as a rebel seeking to assassinate those that would fulfill the light-weavers decree. Her choice has been a bloody one, but she feels she has done much good. A heretic of the light clans that is on the most wanted list.
