Violent isn't the way to describe him. He isn't violent at all. Aggressive? Yes, but not violent. He's just a very protective brother to his little sibling. No one knows if Bite had always been this way or if he had some traumatic experience that made him so protective over those he imprints on, but everyone in the clan knew, from the moment he arrived, that he was going to be trouble. To be clear, Bite isn't the type of dragon to start trouble. He's quiet, like Jonsnoh in some ways, patient, and can sit for hours and watch his brother do almost anything. Even watching his brother watch paint dry. Being active isn't a necessity, but the times when trouble gets worse is when Bite takes his name a little too seriously. When he bites, he bites hard. Any dragon, or Beast, that made of the mistake of even looking at Jonsnoh wrong had learned this the hard way. Needless to say, Bite has earned a few enemies of his own, ever since he was young.

His attitude only grew worse the older he got. He became so quiet that other dragons didn't even know he had a voice, especially the new ones. He spoke to Jonsnoh only, sometimes only with nods or grunts, or a certain look in his four eyes that tells his brother to be careful, no don't touch that! Some dragons just assumed he was getting too protective, but in reality, Bite knew Jonsnoh would be safe. For some reason, nothing ever even hurt the Spiral before, but Bite always got the butt of it all. Getting covered in failed experiments, getting into fights with very powerful dragons just to protect his brother. Their trouble could have been solved easily with a few apologies, but saying sorry is something Bite has never been good at. To anyone, not even Jonsnoh.

He's not particularly kind, but not particularly mean. Younger dragons know not to climb on him or chomp on his tail. Older dragons know that one day he would make a good fighter, but being separated for his brother for more than 24-hours is not going to teach him respect. Most have just decided that he should be allowed to do as he pleases, following Jonsnoh around, keeping the clan's little inventor safe and sound. Likewise, by protecting the Spiral, Bite protects the whole clan. He realizes this, of course. The clan is his home, and he loves them all dearly, but he can't seem to show them. That's... what Bite considers a problem. He has trouble showing any emotions other than anger and rage, especially at those that try to start trouble with his brother. Only by making trouble worse does Bite actually feel like he's being heard, but no one seems to want to listen. Oh well, at least Jonsnoh understands him.

No one knows which clan he belonged to. No one ever saw the seller. All anyone knows is that Bite was found with his name, and his red eyes, sitting alone on a small counter with a price tag around one of his fingers. He didn't talk or even seem to see anyone. The money was left on the counter, as the price tag instructed, and Bite was taken away. He never answered questions about where he came from, nor about his parents, nor about what he wanted to be called. So, the name Bite stuck. His first few days in the clan were filled with him silently following Jonsnoh around, laughing for the first time near his brother, and finally deciding he would be the protector of this crazy Spiral. After all, the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Life after that seemed to get better, yeah, Bite could say that with confidence. If he wanted to say it at all. Life got a lot better.

Even though he never talked about his past or his former clan or anything, Jonsnoh seemed to understand him. It was difficult, to talk about something you wanted to forget, to talk about things you never wanted to remember. As time passed and as Bite grew older, he got more and more... not vocal, but more animated. He would smile when around his little brother, even smile at other dragons, and help Jonsnoh in cheering up the clan by assisting the pranks or the dances. It was only when he got aggressive with those that tried to do harm to his brother did his attitude change. Screeching and roars because Bite's known vocabulary to the clan, and his fighting skills only got better the bigger he got. Didn't matter who he fought. A Beast, or a dragon twice his size. Please, a rolling boulder which was--sadly--the result of anther one of Jonsnoh's adventures could do little to ruin the spirits of the ever growing Mirror.

Currently, Bite has made a nice home for himself with the clan and has even considered opening up about his past, but still his lips and his voice remain locked in silence. Why talk when you could show? Yet, all his attempts had been reprimanded as vicious actions. Yeah, protecting the ones you care about is a vicious action. Even with the anger that Bite has received from the clan and those that had tried to start more trouble with his brother, he has been called a special clan member, one that the clan was happy to have. Perhaps one day he would stop following Jonsnoh around, and stop enhancing the trouble the Spiral makes, let the dragon learn from his mistakes, but for the time being that won't happen. Bite has decided Jonsnoh is someone that needs his big brother there to protect him. Why would he ever leave his brother to face the world alone anyway? Its a scary place out there, and is anything but kind. Bite could tell anyone that with a clear conscious, but the only problem is... would they listen?
