These dragons are among the most ancient, and have dedicated their lives to carrying out the Lightweaver's bidding. Through continued exposure to the radiant sunlight across the Ruins, the Faded have become just that: their colors have dulled, bleached by the sun's rays during their long service. Most of the Faded began as defenders of the Sunbeam Ruins, but more and more are being sent out with peaceful missions as scribes, ambassadors, or messengers as they age. Their glittering spines serve as a reminder of their days as young warriors.

The most ancient of the Faded have lost so much of their color that one can almost see right through them- a fact that has convinced some that the Faded are actually spirits.
