In recent years, the Den of Infection has started to form meaningful connections in other territories. Dragons that are outside of the Den but under its protection are called "Outlanders".

The dragons of the Cove Clan live along the Redrock Cove. They have established a small fishing village, where they trade food and supplies with passing scouts and warriors. The warriors of the Den regularly visit the village to pick up fish and unique materials that can only be found along the shores of Redrock Cove. In exchange, they offer non-seafood foods from the clan stores and protection from nearby threats.

Absinthe, who was born in the Den and left in search of a less hostile environment to call home, lives among the Cove Clan and was the first to encourage and cement the concept of Outlanders.
