Pear is actually short for "pricklypear," but she is far from prickly in nature. She is actually a warm and caring individual, known to greet others with a sunny smile. She and her brother Pitaya are quite close, and often complete tasks and solve problems as a team. Pear is named for Opuntia cymochila, the grassland pricklypear, which has lovely yellowy flowers.
