Seaworld was about to trudge himself off to serve the Plaguebringer when he was taken in by Clan Aorai.

He's ugly, his name is silly, his kids are all ugly and have silly names, but he doesn't let it get him down. In fact, he uses all of these traits as a clever distraction to wheedle more treasure out of the hands of unsuspecting dragons on market sales day. Being as old as he is, he knows every trick in the book to rip his customers off in new and exciting ways.

He likes to tell hatchlings waiting for new homes all kinds of stories. "Back in MY day, we didn't have a vault! We just had to hope our things weren't stolen, and we were happy for it!" "The Crystal Pools didn't exist back in my day! Heck, the KELP BEDS didn't exist either! You wanted to get strong, you had to start at the bottom and claw your way up! You didn't GET to just take a couple of strong friends with you and leech off their work!" "My Ma used to tell me about egg rot! Did you know if you left eggs too long without hatching, they'd go bad and then no new hatchlings! You punks don't know problems!"

Most of them ignore him and assume he's full of it, but one day they too will yell at passing hatchlings that "Back in my day there were only 64 colours! We didn't have crystal genes or glimmer bellies! We had to use accents for that!"
