The kind of person to get gifted a '#1 Dad' shirt ironically, and they wear it unironically.
A.K.A the clan's prince/princess, Montreal spent a good chunk of their early years as an object of admiration; showed on display to faceless bidders as if he were a porcelain doll, with a price so high even the boldest of bidders hesitated.
If you'd look at the joyful, happy dragon now you'd never imagine that there'd been a point where they'd been so hostile and hollowed in that cage. No matter how much the persistent buyers pushed and prodded, they came back swinging even harder. They snapped, growled, snarled, and foamed at the mouth whenever anyone approached them. At night, they'd stay awake in the corner of his room making grotesque gestures and wildly thrashing. If they had stayed any longer, they may have gone mad.
And that's when they met Achillea.
Nobody really quite knew what went down that faithful day in the backroom of the auctionhouse where they resided: door locked with the key in her claw, and the negotiators left to sit in the hall. When she came out, she said nothing; giving a terse nod to the seller and wordlessly setting the bag of gems on the table, striking everyone speechless. When it was their day to leave, they leapt into her embrace, and she cradled him as would a parent and left as quickly as she came. Nobody could believe it, not even Montreal themself.
Montreal treated Achilliea as a child would treat their mother, and Achiella happily reciprocated; She always had time for Montreal, even if she had clan duties to commit to and work to be done. When it was time for Achillea to leave, they were the only one who knew the reason why, and therefore was the only one who was allowed to visit her in her different clan. they fly over frequently, updating her on the progress of the clan and the shenanigans that they get themselves into. In a way, when it's just them, it feels just like home.
