Let's face it, Lorelei is a bit of an a**. She likes picking on new members of the clan, particularly hatchlings. This does not mean that she will shy away from poking at fully grown Guardians or Snappers. When asked why she does it, Lorelei just grins and answers with, "why, would you like some too?". This usually shuts the asker up, as nobody wants to be on the receiving end of Lorelei's jokes. Although mean on the outside, Lorelei's true intentions have a noble glow to them.

Born in an Ice lair where she was not much liked, she was forced to defend herself from the cold treatment of her clanmates. Sometimes this came in the form of exclusion, sometimes it came in the form of straight up abuse. In the beginning, she shrank away and searched for the protection of oblivion. Over time, she grew tired of being treated like she was worth less than everyone else. One day she finally took a stance for herself. After endless harassing from an elder Coatl one day, Lorelei snapped and bit him. She dug her teeth deep into his ankle, and it resulted in her being kicked right across the cave. Minutes later the elder Coatl returned with a big grin on his face and patted her on the back.

"I'm proud of you, Squirt!" He exclaimed. "In a world like this, the worst thing you can do is shy away from a challenge."

The prods did not end there, but instead of cold jabs they turned into good natured pokes. Always delivered with a smile, Lorelei's feisty nature came forward and instead of cowering she would engage. One day, the same elder Coatl she had bitten in her youth approached her. With a bittersweet expression, he told her that she was going to be transferred to a Plague lair. Lorelei felt proud, as it was every hatchling's objective to travel and join new clans. But she was also sad that she had to leave the home that she had forged for herself.

Upon her arrival at this new Clan, a Plague Lair, no less, she saw how all the babies were coddled and nurtured. She also saw that whenever she picked on one of them, it caught them completely off guard and left them feeling lost and confused. They were weak souls. The best solution to a weak soul, according to Lorelei, was Flooding. Shock tactics. Constant exposure until desensitization. This, she learnt from her own experience. With the help and encouragement of Dahlia, a mild sadist, she became te Clan Bully.

From that day onwards, Lorelei made it her personal mission to bully, insult, prank and tease all new clan members, old or young. She would relentlessly do so until her target took a stance and fought back, at which point she would smile and accept them into her heart. From there onwards, her loyalty would become unwavering. Ever since her arrival, she has been toughening up clanmates one by one. This means that she always sports scratches, cuts, bites, and bruises from her successful projects. This also means that her clan boasts of some of the strongest wills, hardest heads and feistiest characters in the Plague realm. Lorelei's influence is noted.

The only dragon who would not take her sh*t from day one was Nero. She approached him with a mean comment on her lips and he looked her straight in the eye, then flicked her nose. It was love at first sight. Although Nero disagrees with Lorelei's methods, they are inseparable. Lorelei still struggles showing Nero affection in public, but just as she works on toughening others up, Nero has been working on softening her.
