A highly educated Light Flight dragon, Gaia was determined to go to the Nature region to research plant life and the general nature of the region itself.

Upon arriving though, she found that the Viridian Labyrinth held none of the allure she'd thought it would. As an added bonus, while pushing through the undergrowth to investigate the one rare flower she'd found in the region, she was unpredictably bit by an Onyx cobra, every bit as far from home as she was, or the cobra that bit Ravanni was.

Stiff, and in pain from the onset of gembond, Gaia left the Labyrinth in frustration.

Eventually she used what was left of her research funding to book passage on a ship. Having decided she no longer wished for the planned out life that had gotten her into this mess, she paid no attention to where the ship was headed. Only realizing what was happening when she walked out on deck after three days of sea sickness and found all the dragons on board dressed warmly.

The cold aggravated her gembond at first, but gradually soothed the ache.

Fascinated by the hearty plant-life and intriguing geography, Gaia set up a lean to and set about studying the geology, geography, and anything else she could get her hands on. These were the early days of the Cabal, just after Mirava and Trivon.

Eventually found by Mariana, on a swim, Gaia was brought back to their cave. Small and on the outskirts of the fields.

With Gaia's help, the clan grew, and found better places to live. They learned where and how to garden, and what foods they could expect, as well as better living areas.

Gaia eventually met Shine, an Augur living on the outskirts, claiming the calm of the ice made it easier to see the signs in the sky. At first she was curious, then she was sold.

Together, Gaia and Shine combined their Augury powers and education to better the clan.
