"Kel" - Female Fungalhoof Qiriq

The largest and wisest of the familiars, Kel is a stoic and quiet spirit who above all else, follows the command of her Queen. In return, she commands the rest of the familiars on how to assist their dragons.

Dalimisa has inherited the throne from her dam, Artemisia, who stepped down willingly as the Flight began to grow larger and harder for the Fae dragon to control. Although Faes are well-known for their monotonous tones and actions, Artemisia had learned to interact amongst her dragons with care and humility. She was a kind, just, and proud leader, whereas Dalimisa is strict and somewhat aggressive in expanding their territory.

Dalimisa's sire, Dalinar, was a noble dragon who left when she was still a whelp in the nest. He grew restless trying to settle down so he studied the path of their Gods, and is now Exalted. While Artemisia and Dalimisa are very proud of the honorable path he chose, it was still quite hard on the both of them when he left.

Soon after becoming leader, Dalimisa named Mahey, a snapper female, as her second-in-command, who would ascend to the throne in the case of Dalimisa's imminent death or inability to lead further.

Mahey is both wise and very strong, but above all, she is loyal to her Queen. There is a bond between Dalimisa and Mahey that is unbreakable, even in death. Though the two dragons are almost inseparable, Dalimisa regards all her dragons with respect and expects them to perform to their highest ability.

Due to the sometimes violent expansion of territory, some of the nearby Clans have been wiped out or end up fleeing the devastation. More often than not, this results in orphaned whelps, which are taken in and trained by Dalimisa herself.

Each dragon in Dalimisa's Flight, no matter the origin or age, receive a familiar to help protect or guide their dragon. Dalimisa's familiar, a Fungalhoof Qiriq named Kel is the largest and wisest familiar of the group.
