B I O G R A P H Y

Wind Representative: Firstborn of the Imperator.

______ Part of the first clutch hatched by the clan leaders, Vinmiat has endured and witnessed much. Her mother gifted her a shining new skin to cover her unpatterned hide, an embarrassment to the clan. Despite the shame that came from having Basic genes, Vinmiat became an irreplaceable part of the clan. She traveled, gaining favor with the Windsinger, and dressed in the finest metals. Her mother has stated that Vinmiat forever be a virgin, never to take on even a temporary mate. Lately, though, the dragon has begun to shape her own path. She sticks precisely to the values of the Wind flight, wanting to change as the wind.

______ Vinmiat knew that there was magic that would allow her to become something new, as her own father had cast off the Tundra fur that he was born with. Ajrion has become a Fae, why couldn't she become a Pearlcatcher, one of the Lightweaver's blessed? Working with Birdsong, she changed her very being. The hermetic Bogsneak was able to create a pearl of solid gold for the new Pearlcatcher, bonded with the essence of her transformation. Vinmiat used to only be able to speak in monotone, like her mother, but now she finds use in all tones of voice. Scarivana does not approve of her change, but it is much too late for Vinmiat to go back without sacrificing her very soul. Her younger brother, Skyleean, approves of her change, saying that the Lightweaver supports her choice.

______Recently, her previously blank scales have erupted into beautiful patterns that grace her being. Casting off the mirage that hid her true colors, Vinmiat feels more free than ever before. Even Scarivana, vain as she might be, approves of her daughter now. The two dragons remain distant, but Vinmiat's beauty opens up a door for reconciliation with her mother. Is it worth it?
