A little fae popped out from behind the door, responding to your timid knock as her goggles glinted in the moonlight, her smile welcoming.
"Ah, welcome, welcome!" she said in a rich and happy tone. It echoes throughout the circus tent, her den specially decorated for the eerie nights of Halloween.
She ushers you inside, her claws gently pushing you inside the delights of her home. Colorful and vibrant colors of orange and black greet your eyes as she brings out a pouffe and asks you to sit down.
"T-trick or treat?" you ask shyly.
"Ah, you little youngster!" the little fae gives a slightly manic grin and throws her head back and giggles. "Treats, I daresay that I have too little, but there is plenty to spare for all, I thinks!" With a soft chuckle she speeds off to the back of the room and opens a colorful cabinet. Carefully, she takes out a large pouch the size of a cannonball and puts it cheerily on her lap when she relaxes on the pouffe in front of you. She peers inside and laughs as she pulls out several smaller pouches topped off with a bell. You look with interest as she smiles kindly and hands it into your awaiting claws. With a sweep of her tail, she gently pushes you out, beaming, as you stagger from the weight of all those goodies inside your little treat bag.
"You must be planning to visit other lairs, I thinks, so I hope you enjoy your little treats, and Happy Halloween!"
