Garnet

With so many Tundras and Pearlcatchers, the clan needs a lot of green fuel. That's where Garnet and his little brother Sundown come in. They make their rounds daily in all but the worst weather, gathering tasty stalks, roots and leafy branches into a wooden cart. As the larger and more muscular of the pair, Garnet gets the job of pulling the cart, but he doesn't complain. He doesn't mind hard work, when he has his brother's company and plenty of snacks along the way. And the work was much harder back in the Icefields, when it took all day to gather enough for everyone, and they all ate bark to survive the winter. Garnet actually still likes the taste of bark... but it's nice having more time to rest, and to have daylight to bask in year-round.
