Asrai is one that is sent out from the troupe frequently, often to clans that have suffered hardships recently, to cleanse their homes of dark spirits and let the deceased finally rest. She more frequently does the job for clans that recently had a valued member leave, either to serve the deity or to join a new clan. She often dispels the demons of despair that gather when a major change happens.

Her mate is Amari, who she convinced to give up his past of infidelity to settle down with her. She got very attached to him, being comforted by him being close after a long day of sin eating.
