Biography
Mate: Familiar: |
Ryan - A Cursed King Ruthless | Determined | Protective Mocked and teased, that's all Ryan seems to encounter in what he calls, 'his new life'. But would you believe this angry little Guardian to have once be a powerful overruling Imperial? Neither does anyone else. Ryan claims to have been one of the more feared dragons to live in the land of ice and snow. His parents coming from a proud line of royalty and clan leaders. So like his father before him, Ryan took to ruling, and did so in a way that he felt, well, suited him. Those who sat under him feared him. A tyrant, a cruel creature, a monster. Any one who apposed him, did not last very long. A heart colder than the ice itself. It would only make sense that many other dragons didn't take to kindly to his form of 'leadership'. They say the most powerful of magic users in the Southern Icefeilds gilded together, in order to curse the imperial. Ryan doesn't know, if he knew who had cursed him, well, they wouldn't be around any more. Changed him into a Gaurdian, rendering him unable to glide and attack like he once was able to. Banished to the land of shadow, Ryan had hoped to once again find a clan to rule, and land to conquer. But many of the dragons who live in the dark seemed to be too cunning, or unwilling to work with (or rather for) other dragons. Ryan did manage to find a clan to call home, and hopes to one day betray them, show them the true color of his scales, but a certain ridgeback named Captain keeps his 'tendencies' in tack by reassuring that what he speaks is not lie, but truth. Captain claims it's truth because Ryan says so, not a lie because others say so. Other than the ridgeback that has found a way to show the nicer side of him, Ryan is also thankful for for his faithful companion. For his son Lougan, and his faithful familiar Rowan. Lougan is Ryan's last remaining son of a mate long since forgotten. Despite Ryan's distaste for the former mother, Lougan has done very well to please his father. Clad in gold and covered in intricate markings, Lougan has returned to the Southern Ice fields where Ryan was raised. Maybe Ryan's son will grow to be as infamous as he was in those lands. Rowan, Ryan's familiar, was once a beautiful Snowsquall Floracat with leaves that shimmered like the frozen rivers, still remain faithfully at his side. Undeterred by his new Guardian appearance, Rowan continues to comfort and accompany him. However, it seems he was not spared from the curse that effects him, as Rowan's leaves have lost their soft frost coat, and turned a brittle and dark black, with a gold shimmer that he and Ryan have always shared. It's painfully obvious to Ryan that Rowan does not do well in the land of the dark, weather its from the change in climate, or the curse, but he has grown weaker, slower and less nimble. But he remain cunning, stealthy and loyal, often bring news of those he calls 'lair mates' in order to strike against them. One day, Ryan will again rule - maybe even break the curse. But for now, he has Rowan and Captain to keep him company. |
