Lore
Luna was just a day-old hatchling when she was sent from her home to another Water clan. Her new clan apparently had mutual allies with her old one, and she was a gift of peace.

She didn't exactly feel peaceful.

Lost and confused, she spent her days hiding in the back of the lair, scared to get near the older dragons even as she outgrew most of them.

Then Monroe came.

He was a warrior who had traveled from one of Luna's two clan's mutual allies to train under his son Jason in a Plague clan. It wasn't long after Luna was fully matured that he arrived at her new one, Level 25 and victorious, proud of his accomplishments. The members of the clan were very glad to welcome him as the leader of their army, and he seemed to find absolute peace in knowing he kept his clan safe from the Beastclans.

Luna wanted that.

One day, not long after Monroe had returned from a long battle in the Kelp Beds, she approached him. She begged him to train her, to teach her to fight like he did. She told him how troubled she had been since arriving, and he took pity on her, agreeing to train her. She'd be his temporary second-in-command, he said, while his sister Amethyst was still training in the Scarred Wastelands.

Luna leveled fast, and was a Level 21 before Amethyst made her way home. Having missed her older brother, she'd flown home immediately after reaching Level 25, and was completely exhausted by the time she arrived. Imagine her surprise in learning that not only was her beloved brother off fighting - but he was training another dragon!

When Monroe and Luna arrived back at the lair, Amethyst was quick to welcome them both - Monroe, with affection; Luna, with death glares. The girls were introduced, but while Luna tried to be friendly, Amethyst would have none of it.

Of course, Monroe had grown a bond with Luna by this time, and insisted she continue training and fighting with them. He seemed to be the only one oblivious to his sister's feelings toward the younger Ridgeback, and though Luna didn't quit fighting, she let out her pent-up emotions by giving her love to very sweet male dragons that she honestly didn't care as much for as she thought she did. In the heat of her split with her second mate, two of her hatchlings left home, yet Unnamed.

It was one day while extremely upset about her breakup when the Ice between Luna and Amethyst finally broke. Monroe had been extremely sick, having caught a disease from a Mossy Cerdae weeks before. With the clan not yet having a Healer, he had insisted he work through it, and while he was slowly healing, his strategy during battle became sloppy and erratic at best. The girls did their best to pick up the slack, but just as they came across a particularly vicious Overcharged Silverbeast in the Rainsong Jungle, Monroe fell. The girls hadn't had to fight without him yet, and both were nervous at the prospect.

They had no choice.

Together they managed to take down the Silverbeast, and get Monroe home to help. No one ever knew what happened on that battlefield, but everyone saw the change between the Ridgeback girls that day. They became inseparable, and Luna finally understood what peace was.

She sought to bring such peace to other clan members, telling Lagoon to follow his dream of being a Water Subspecies patriarch despite not having been born a Water dragon, and encouraging Chrysalis's love of studying.

Soon after reaching Level 25 though, she got antsy. She wanted to travel to a new element. She hugged her friends, thanked them for everything, and promised to write. She took to the skies, excited to see where the Windsinger's breath would carry her.

It carried her to a fire lair and at first she was nervous that the dragon here would be as unaccepting as Amethyst first was. Thankfully, most of them either ignored her, or were friendly.

But she grew bored. There was nothing for her to do! The highest fighting team was level 14 and though she wanted to offer to train them, they seemed like a well-oiled machine. They worked well together, both in the arenas, and in everyday life. Two of them, Maron and Heartsong, were even mates.

"Luna, come here." A strong, smooth, commanding voice rang out and Lune jumped toward the noise. It was DarkFire, leader of this clan.

"Yes, ma'am?"

DarkFire smiled, "No need to be so polite, I'm just a dragon, like you. I have a proposition for you."

"Yes, ma'am--I mean...um."

The leader laughed, "You're level 25, correct?"

Luna nodded.

"Do you miss fighting?"

"Oh yes, I really do."

"Would you be willing to train our dragons? I'd love to get them all to at least level five, in case anything ever happens to any of our dragons, but right now, I'm mostly concerned about DeathFlight, Heartsong and Maron. They are our hardest fighters, but sometimes they come home more banged up and bruised than they should. Could you teach them a more effective way to battle? Help them grow stronger? It would be nice for them to have a veteran such as yourself teach them these things."

Luna was stunned. She found herself unable to speak. And when at last she did speak, it was hardly an intelligent answer. "Uh...me?"

"Yes, you!"

"I would love to!"

"That's fantastic! Thank you. You are a life saver. I've been hoping someone would show up eventually...I just had no idea where to look, or which clans to request ambassadors from. You're welcome to leave and go home whenever you like."

"Oh no, I can stay. I enjoy it here."

"In that case, at least let us give your clan some money. You must mean a lot to them"

Luna didn't protest, just let the mirror do as she wished...and then, she went on her way. She was a trainer now.
