 In the large den of Vaness, shared with other elites of the clan, huddled a mass of discussing bodies.
"If nature wants to reignite the carnage between our flights, I say go ahead. It's been a while since I've given a good shredding to any wyvern with these claws." declared the Colonel Beowulf.
SootBlood shot him a look.
The thick-framed guardian cleared her throat, "Killing won't solve everything, Beowulf. You may be stronger, but we as a clan will stay strong if we don't go searching for a fight. Of course, if any trouble comes our way there will be a battle. In that event, we still won't kill. The alchemist Venom has brewed up a virus to make the goddess Plaguebringer proud. She wishes to test it out on dragons. If there is war, we need to keep our rivals alive so they infect and spread the plague."
SootBlood leaned up from the flat-rock table the plaguelanders were gathered around.
"I agree with General SootBlood." Vaness stated cooly across the table.
"Thank you, Cheif Vaness. I left the light flight as a tiny drake, for our then miniscule clan. This place and all the dragons in it are my charges. I refuse any reckless endangerment that comes from running around hungry for war."
The gray and red speckled dragon bowed her head down, finalizing their plans for potential conflict and ending the meeting.
