The first of the three Heirs to the Ridge. Skell has been raised by Jura himself as the clan ambassador, traveling from land to land and making either peace or war with other places. Skell's job is cumbersome and busy, and the young dragon rarely ever sleeps as a result. He spends his hours writing up treatises and deciding which clan would be best to make allies. He lives under the constant shadow of his father as the eldest son. Skell thirsts for power and wants to please his father to the ends of the earth, and is constantly paranoid about assassination attempts as well as one of his younger siblings betraying him.
