Colt

With an ever-present smile and an infectious sense of humor, Colt puts everyone he meets at ease. He is comfortable with his emotions, and would wear his heart on his sleeve (if he had sleeves). He manages to find the good in everyone, and entertain that good. He's even made Bao crack a rare smile.

Though a bit of a clown, he's learned how to dedicate himself to a craft and a cause--which, as he discovered one day while watching Iriomote save a hatchling's life, is healing. Iriomote was as unpleasant as she could to drive the black Coatl away. But he came back. When when that didn't work, she sent him on impossible tasks. When he came back from those, she finally declared she was going to take him seriously, and he'd probably regret it.

Despite constantly being dragged through the ringer at the behest of Iriomote, who is a tough mentor and a rough soul, Colt has no regrets at all about the path he's chosen. It feels right, it feels true, and it makes him feel like all the pain he must have went through, was for something. He was saved for something, and that something was this clan. He'd do anything to keep everyone safe.
