Melinoe started out as Smile's assistant. She was very useful to her as she has a unique ability; she converses with the dead. However, she has begun working by herself because she prefers to just speak to and learn from those who've passed, as opposed to manipulate them, and in some cases, raise them from the grave. She's a very quiet dragon, preferring to socialize with the spirits instead of her clanmates. That doesn't mean that she doesn't love her clan, in fact the opposite. Melinoe is always learning information, sometimes helpful in small ways, and other times extremely vital, that she shares with the rest of the clan to keep her family from harm. Aside from warnings and information, Melinoe also has her friends help to cloak the clan's location. If an unwanted intruder gets too close to their home, the ghosts will confuse them and send them off in the opposite direction.
