Yujit hails from a family renowned for their wisdom and beauty. Though he has a sharp tongue and a curt demeanor, he never shared his family's pompous attitude. Disliking their aristocratic ways, he left home and eventually found his place among the dragons of Nocte. He takes his work as an Archivist incredibly seriously, putting it before everything else in his life. His pursuit of proving himself to be more than his family name has led to a neglect in social interaction.

Yujit was raised to treat honor in the highest regard, but his sense of self-worth was damaged by his family's reputation. Oftentimes he comes off as haughty and short-tempered, something he's trying his hardest to work through. He worries that his clan will one day think him unworthy of his position, which is why he works so hard to prove himself.

Of the few dragons he might call friends, Ilcene has long been pursuing him with the intent of becoming his mate. Yujit has dodged him as best he can, brushing off his advances as insincere, but it grows increasingly difficult as time goes on. The crystalline Skydancer has always been rather lax with him, addressing him informally and acting as if they were good friends even when they first met. It bothered him, in the beginning.

After Sepheraph's revolt, Yujit did as the rest of the clan's remaining members and tried his best to help repair the damages done. He managed to keep a level head, which somehow landed him in a leaderly position throughout the relief efforts, directing activities and allies and keeping careful stock of resources. When the working stopped however and he was left to his own weariness, Yujit found himself wishing for Ilcene's company.

Even as the clan's repairs continued, eventually coming to an end, Ilcene's absence persisted. The Skydancer only returned to their home long enough to collect himself before he went out again, scouring the borders for something only he knew. Yujit worried, and worry turned into annoyance, and annoyance became action. He snatched Ilcene away the first chance he got, forcing him to eat a proper meal and rest his head.

Somehow, it became routine. Ilcene would sleep at his side, whether he was working or resting himself, and wake with him to begin the day. They ate together and lived together, and on the days where Ilcene slept through the night without incident, he'd go out to the borders again. Little by little, even as his nightmares diminished, his trips to the border lessened until his patrols were once again at a normal rate.

But still he ate and slept beside Yujit, and at some point they both found themselves something more than simple comrades. After all the time he'd spent pushing Ilcene away, it was Yujit who in the end pulled him close when he most needed it.
