Teich arrived, broken, bloody, and bruised, on the edge of the Flickering Shadows clan's territory; unable to do much more than maintain shaky breathing, no one questioned him, but immediately retrieved Serania. Once he was well enough to speak, Teich managed to explain that he had left his old clan in favor of join one of the Nature persuasion - unfortunately, after several days of uninterrupted walking and flying, he did not have the strength to fight off a pack of black wolves who had attacked him, and was lucky to escape with his life. Teich was immensely grateful to his saviors and asked if he could join the clan - upon acceptance, Teich profusely thanked anyone who would listen and said he'd make himself useful in any way he could. Once he'd fully recovered, Teich devoted himself to finding something he was good at. Eventually, he settled down as a tailor. Along the way, he fell in love with Lagoon, whom he absolutely adores; he always uses any extra or otherwise undesirable material he has left to make her gifts.

An extra story, courtesy of Elextra (#319211):

"Teich often wished that the warbling voice which squeaked out from between his eyes would

find someone else to pester! The blasted creature had wings after all, couldn't it find somewhere else to sit other than atop his head? He had a shop to run! Clothing to make! Garments to repair! 'Gahhhh!' he often found himself thinking, at a loss for words, as he contemplated for the hundredth time that day about whacking the beast atop his head with the bolt of cloth he clutched at angrily with his small clawed feet. Only the thought of further alarming his already disconcerted customer, a wealthy dragoness, stayed his thoughts. Could you imagine the rumors?

'Lair tailor cracks over the stress of unimaginably picky client, Mrs. Scalestone still distraught

after seeing local artisan furiously beat himself over the head with a bolt of fabric! "He was screaming," Mrs. Scalestone recalled, "get out you blasted mongrel!" and so I left, I have no idea what drove him to this madness, assuredly it was not my order of 100 silk taffeta hand sewn and sequined flower scarves!'

The little pest often began to coo and warble at the worst moments, the last time was when he

was finishing the custom stitching on a leather chest piece, destined to be worn by a wealthy merchant. At the sound of the little feathered heathen's mating call, a shrill sharp call of ear piercing annoyance, Teich had promptly stabbed himself with the long hooked needle he used for leather work. He swore the little beast had chirped with joy at the sight. Teich sighed, and then tossed a bit of seed between his fins, maybe he could start charging him rent?"
