Moving from one place to another ceaselessly
Her only purpose in life - to secure her Treasure from prying hands

She smiles and swoops,
Too quick to see
Moving from space to space
Protecting her Treasure,
Making her dens
Smuggler indeed
The brilliant protector
The cunning thief
The ceaseless moving love
A spiral far above the clouds
Soaring high above
Sornieth a witness to the circling dance
Of Smuggler, and her love.

Smuggler and Her Treasure

Once upon a time, on a bright shiny day,
Smuggler discovered a friend where she lay,
A construct of gold and gems in a curl,
Such a brilliant toy spiral, his eyes even whirl!

Some tried to touch him and smear him with grime.
Some tried to steal him, but she caught them in time.
She worried so about him, her Treasure, her toy,
When she gazed upon him, her heart filled with joy.

From that moment on, she kept the toy hid,
She traveled through the lands, and as she did,
She never saw another she loved qute as much,
As her own precious Treasure, held safe in her clutch.

One day she came upon an extra large dragon,
Bigger even than her Lair’s largest wagon.
She asked to share the nearby pool,
She needed a drink, it looked pretty and cool.

He said in a breathy and lyrical voice,
"Have your fill, little spiral, this pool is choice!"
She set down her pack, and went for a drink,
When she turned, she stared and couldn’t quite think.

He had his claw upon her toy of gold,
Fallen from her pack, down a small hill it rolled.
"What a wondrous toy!" he said with a gleam.
In his eyes, she discovered he was not what he seemed.

"Windsinger?" she whispered, her heart loudly thumping.
"Yes," said her deity, she barely contained her jumping,
"What is this toy, I have never seen the like?"
“It was placed in my nest when I was a small tyke"

"Since then I have loved it, cared for it and known,
That it’s the one thing in this world that I have been shown,
That makes my blood beat and my wings want to twirl,
This toy has my heart, no one else for this girl!"

Windsinger smiled and Smuggler felt light,
“Then this Treasure shall have you, that's only right!”
With a deep inhalation, Windsinger made song,
Breathing on the toy in a note very long.

In a breezy glitter of sentient dust,
Treasure blinks and breathes his very first gust,
His ivory flows and his gold muscles shimmer,
A sweeping woosh, and his wings brightly glimmer,

His newborn eyes gazed upon her in love,
Smuggler was caught, Singer gave a small shove,
The two twined together, dancing around,
When they finally stopped, Singer couldn’t be found...
