Adalinda

I walk across cracked paths, shadowed by great empires. Smog falls across the sky from rusted chimneys of factories. Brick buildings tower to the heavens, where life bustles amongst them. Dragons pass me at every turn, with busy steps and papyrus woven bags. My talons are stained with rust from the pipes, my body scarred to black from steam. Newspapers litter the streets with ink soaked words "Your life is here now, for the industry!" Long hours and screeches from coal into fire, levers turning and knobs pulling. I have power within me, a molten core lies inside.

But this city is not just grey and mindless, there are feilds that bloom that were once volcanic. Farms as long as the eye can see, and lakes deeper than imagination. We live in the times of the revolution. We are the workers, the back bone of this city, I am powerful, I am fierce, I am a cog that ticks within this clock. I am part of this world. I am irreplaceable, but mostly, I am Adalinda.
