Both Lyth and NiKo were taken in around the same time and cared for by Coralle. The two wind dragons became accustomed to their new home fairly quickly and became very close, rarely leaving each other's side. Even when Mogar joined a little while later, the three of them became practically inseparable. To NiKo, Coralle became like a mother figure to him and Sharpfang a father, while he admired Toret greatly for her caring nature and immense power.
NiKo, wanting to somewhat follow in Coralle's steps, became a teacher to the hatchlings and young dragons of the clan. He only teaches the basics - flying, hunting, basic fighting and defense. When he's not teaching, he's sometimes out gathering books for himself and Sharpfang. While Sharpfang deals with the history of the land and the clan, NiKo focuses on taking other books and writing them in a way for everyone to understand.
Nearly all of the dragons in the clan would say that NiKo is a gentle soul that wouldn't hurt a fly. He doesn't fall for gimmicks easily and can see through most ruses in a matter of seconds. Being a serious gentlemen, he doesn't really understand jokes or the like, so the ones his mate tell end up flying right over his head.
