Slytha was born in the Everbloom gardens, but not among flowers. Her egg was hidden under the darkest foliage, alone and in the shadows. The new hatchling, quivering and scared, crawled out from under the deep, dark green leaves and into the light. Life bloomed before her eyes. Birds darting from flower to flower, plants in every color of the spectrum. She immediately fell in love.

She grew up living near a stream that she used for water, she slept in the trees and learned to fly at a young age. She had to fight to protect herself and she had to teach herself to hunt...
