Praedyth is a guardian who has found himself caught in a predicament between his morals and his two questionable loves: Unnamed, his prior mate whom he once believed to be his charge, and his true charge, Shiva, a cold matriarch and shaman who leads her water clan with a cruel iron fist. Praedyth's loyalties have drifted towards Shiva and her dubious ways, as he has abandoned his position of one of the leaders of his light clan and family. While Praedyth has caught himself feeling suspicious towards Shiva's methods of ruling, she tells him she loves him, and that everything she does is for the future of their clan. He's unsure of what her true motives are, especially with himself, but he strives to protect and love his charge despite longing for the returned affection from his previous clan. Besides, she wouldn't lie... would she?
