Worried that he insulted her, Terra learned quickly to not ask. Now that Preta is acquainted with the clan, asking her about her past clan only grants a blank stare and silence.
---->Although Preta is snappy about her old life, it doesn't stop her from being a loving mother. She not only dotes on her own children but the hatchlings of the other couples as well. When the Gin and Tonic get up to their antics, Preta is likely to turn away rather than reprimand them.
---->There are no worse gossips in the clan than Preta and Skylar. They usually get together at least once a day solely to trash talk other clans and clan members. Skylar spends a lot of time putting down Eddard, so Preta has a pseudo dislike of him.

Preta: Sanskrit supernatural being that is starving for something. Translates often into 'Hungry Ghost'.
When paired with her mate, Terra Preta means 'dark earth' in Portugese, referring to the dark, rich, charcoal packed earth of the Amazon Basin.
