Whisha's parents were blessed by the Plaguebringer before his birth, but due to an unfortunate mishap on the borders of The Starfall Isles, and the Scarred Wasteland, his parents were slain and he was orphaned.

Despite being born on The Arcanist's territory, and unawares of the loss of the Plaguebringer's favor, he was true to his roots and survived the land to adulthood. A fatal mishap of his own, encountering a rather rowdy Beastclan left him defenseless, and it was there he met Harrow, who to his great annoyance, saved him and laid claim to him as her charge. To this day, she has to clean up after the reckless and rash Mirror's messes, and is responsible for provoking deep emotion and care besides the odd violent outburst.

Their closeness in their young adult stage led to their pairing before either was ready, and if it had not been for Chrysalis coming upon the pair in their moment of dire need, the egg born of their union would have died of illness. It was this, that made the mirror realize he didn't want to be alone, and just how much his care for Harrow had burrowed the desire to have a family in him.

The pair's romantic inclinations have waned after the event, leading both to find love elsewhere.

Despite being a survivor still, the blessings bestowed by his family's Deity, did not follow onto his children. Out of four offspring, only half have survived leaving as much emotional scarring on the Mirror as there is physical, because of this he is hesitant to breed any further, and is constantly roaming with his rapidly growing "Pack" to find residence where misfortune will not follow him. Meanwhile, his newest mate, the Pearlcatcher ScarletSmoke, is content to wait to convince him their brood can live on together if he were to but try again.
