Midnight was abandoned by her family and was left inside a forest to fend for herself. She had to learn and figure out things for herself and her own survival. Her instincts helped her figure out what to do in the situations she came across. She learned that she had to eat when she got hungry. But sadly not all the things she ate was good for her and she often got food poisoning. She learned to drink water in the river she found to keep herself hydrated. She stood guard in front of strange creatures she never seen before and thought they were going to hurt her. Some did attack but some ran off as well. In the fights she did find herself in wasn't to extreme but she did leave with scratches and bruises. She tired to find places to sleep and none of them were really good at all. When she was able to sleep nightmares would haunt her about her parents abandoning her with each step they took getting farther away. Midnight would shout and scream for them to come back but they never stopped or even turned their heads to look at her one more time. Tears would run down her face as they got out of her sight and she never saw them again. Buy that time in the nightmare she would wake up with sweat on her body shouting out from how horrible the nightmare was for her. In reaction to her shout she heard birds flying away from out of the trees they were in. Midnight looked up at them and saw them fly off into the night sky. With her eyes following were the birds headed in the sky she found the moon and where it was in the sky. Noticing that some trees where in her view she got up and moved into a opening where she could see it clearly. Her eyes opened wide and took in how beautiful the moon was and she had a big smile on her face. She did see the moon every night but never thought of it as a big deal now. This time tonight the moon was full. Any other nights she just saw either a half moon or the clouds blocked it. As she kept looking at the moon in the sky she suddenly heard a loud sound in the night. It startled her and she wondered if something bad was happening. Not paying attention to the moon anymore she set off to track where the noise was coming from.
