Mrecruy

Growth description is a lie to make Mrecruy feel better. Mrecruy is eternally 20 centimeters long. Such smol dragon.

Among such larger dragons and the span of desert around his lair, Mrecruy could feel as small as he is, less than a foot long compared to some of those literally over a hundred times his size. He could feel this small, but instead he focuses his emotions on laughing too loud at jokes that aren’t even funny, showing his dominance over his clan by slamming the swing door they installed just for him to enter the other side of the lair (where the other dragons would typically walk/fly around or over the wall since the wall connects to nothing), and just in general being a wacky individual.

While he doesn’t let his height get to him, he still has a tendency to throw “tantrums” much like the child he’s the right size to be when certain clan members have the decency to lord their height over him, such as when the sit in front of the door and don’t let him slam it or when the Smol Child Pumpersnickel was bigger than him upon hatching much less her size now (though he doesn’t blame her, he and Guy are just too good of parents for her not to be smol yes that’s exactly it).

He wears a tiny crown because he’s in charge. He wears a tiny scarf because Guy told him to. And gosh does he ever love Guy. He’d even let her wear the tiny crown if she wanted. What a lovely dragon Guy is (even if she is 15 centimeters bigger than him, but it’s close enough).

Where other dragons of the Lightning flight may listen primarily to Stormcatcher, Mrecruy finds himself following the strange entity Aunt Helena and her whims instead in naming the children of his clan whatever Aunt Helena asks, his own child included. Oh, Aunt Helena, could we ever thank you enough for names like Pumpersnickel or Squarbanoosh?
