HISTORY
Zenith settled herself heavily on the cliff overlooking the valley where her clan made their home base. Even from this far up, she could hear the delighted squeals of hatchlings as they went about trying, and mostly failing, to take flight. It was a peaceful day. Zenith liked peace.

Heavy footfalls alerted her that someone else had found her hiding place. The familiar clanging of sword against scale informed her that her mate, Acme, had made his appearance. With his usual lack of grace, he flopped down next to her, making sure to lean a good bit of his weight into her side. She chuckled and snuggled back into him. Then they both silently settled, enjoying the hot breeze and distant sounds of their clan. Eventually she felt the rhythmic rise and fall of Acme’s breathing. Sleep sounded good, maybe she would be joining him soon. It had been a long few months, between trying to negotiate peace with the local Beast Clans, and trying to train up some new Exalted, she hadn’t felt like there was time to breath.

She hoped Stormcatcher would appreciate this newest group of recruits. They were a bit clumsy, but very hard working. And they all came with new stories, new information. Things she hadn’t thought of or hadn’t had confirmation about. She loved how willing Exalts were to give everything away. Maybe one day she would make the decision to join Stormcatchers eternal army, but not any time soon. There was so much she still needed to learn on this side of the divide. Still so much to teach.

With a slight grunt she brought her head back and rested it on top of Acme’s still form. She watched bemused as one, then two, of the hatchlings got caught in a wayward gust of wind, Ghost’s small form trailing behind them, trying to give advice on how to steady. Zenith yawned and let her eyes flutter shut. She’d see about getting the hatchlings a proper flying instructor. But for now, she needed sleep, and it was peaceful. Even with the screaming.

TRAVEL
Zenith is a homebody, and isn’t much for exploring. The Zakiaya Clan is located in a deep valley. This suits the diversity of members well, as those who are not good with heat can easily hide from it and there is always a strong, if warm, breeze blowing by.

FACTION
Zenith is much more inclined to learning than fighting, but fighting is what she does the most. It can’t be helped. As the Matriarch she has a duty to those she has recruited to keep them safe. So though she would like to spend her days deep in the library, becoming as dusty as the book, she has to take up arms and defend what he helped to create.
