Paarthunax
"Sure, come along. We're jus' moving through."

Well, besides the fact that his name is Paarthurnax, not much is known about the Guardian's origins.

He was discovered in the corner of the Abiding Boneyard by a thrall of one of the local lairs belonging to the fae Namira. Malnourished, dehydrated, and on the verge of death, Paarthurnax was rescued and taken care of for several months in the Scarred Wasteland. While his strength returned, his memory had disappeared, and nothing Namira could do was able to get it back.

As he was a relatively young dragon found by himself, it was assumed Paarthurnax was on his Search, and had not yet completed it. Namira sent the Guardian on his way with a few of the younger dragons of her clan in hopes that he was to be successful. For now, he searches aimlessly with his new friends.

Paarthurnax is an easygoing, simple dragon, and not too eager to discover his past. Friendly and perhaps too trusting, Paarthurnax is willing to let anyone join him on his journey or in his clan. He enjoys hearing the stories of fellow travelers and is a voracious eater.

He is inclined to his Search more by instinct than by any sense of pride or desire to be recognized by his fellow Guardians, as the unease of having nothing to protect is the only thing that bothers him on long nights.

Within the clan, Paarthunax is well-loved and is looked up to as its founder... just not its leader. That's fine with him--he's happy to laze around when he's not travelling. Most come to him to vent, and the hatchlings enjoy playing around him. Paarthunax listens well, and offers simple advice in return.

Wildwood Owl - Haggrid - Awakened
Haggrid pecked. And pecked. And Satsuki and Clip found it too funny to pull the old owl from Paarthurnax's shoulders. Though Haggrid has calmed down considerably, he keeps Paarthurnax on his toes and pecks him whenever the guardian does something wrong or acts lazy.
