☽ Gian ☾
Smuggling is an atypical job that requires a certain amount of arrogance, a sly mind, skewed morals and a keen eye for any good job opportunities, and it is a job Gian excels in. Gian’s been smuggling items across the whole of Sornieth for many years now and has built himself a reputation of being able to deliver goods in record time and perfect condition anywhere and any time, occasionally also taking seeking jobs.
Gian can get his hands on anything you want: Maned cobras, skinks, gemstones, even pieces of the World pillar. The various flight territories are so different and often lack items from other territories which Gian can procure for the right sum of money. It’s a dirty, thankless job, but highly satisfying, especially when you manage to acquire a stunning piece for mere pennies with the right words and a smile, Gian’s specialty.
Despite his trade, Gian’s not a materialist and lives very modestly, saving most of what he earns. He’s charismatic with a talent for words, which leads him to being quite the sweet-talker. He easily charms others and uses his silver tongue to achieve certain deals and trades that help him and those who require his services along.
Some would call him downright immoral, as Gian has lived almost his whole life alone and cares for only himself. Gian’s a sly dragon, if there isn’t anything for him in a deal then he doesn’t care.
It is not an exaggeration to call him a lady killer; his good looks, cunning mind and drawling tone swoop ladies off their feet. However, no lady stays in his arms for long, for he is as flighty as his feet. Gian highly values the freedom his job gives him.
He can travel all around in search of treasures, visit ruins, caves, fortified castles and many more places filled with goods his sticky fingers want to grab without ever having to settle down. To him responsibilities are like shackles on his wings and feet that keep him grounded to the earth and he’ll go to great lengths to get rid of them. He just wants to smuggle, deal, and enjoy his life.
Gian’s skewed morals may permit him to smuggle pretty much anything, including things you may have to dig much, much deeper for; but remember, all good things come at a price. No matter how sweet they look.
