As the leader of the clan he is kind and well respected. He tries to lead as best as he can and attempts to take everyone into consideration. Just like a leader should, no?

When the clan first started he fell in love with another Skydancer by the name of Akatsuki. They were deeply in love and tried to have hatchlings together many times.

But only one survived.

This was the first tear between them, but they still loved each other and never wanted to separate.

Then Guren heard it. A faint whisper in the dark.

He tried oh so hard to disobey the whisper, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t break it.

His body was no longer his own and his vision was clouded. He could see faint shapes and blurs of trees until finally a familiar image.

His beloved.

His claws, claws that he had once used to calm and caress, her shredded her like fabric.

She tried to fight back, but she was no match for an experienced warrior like himself.

His teeth dug into her flesh until the life ebbed from her beautiful body.

When his vision returned and he realised what he’d done he sobbed for hours and hours.
