Pax has served most of his life as a hostage in order to maintain a shaky alliance between two very different clans. A loving home was traded in for hostilities and distrust when he was but a child, and he has grown up to be a confused and unsure adult at best, with a downright unstable personality at worst. He tries to be nice to all he meets yet his years spent in a uncertain environment have forever poisoned him.

While he has now been declared free after the alliance was negated, he cannot find it within himself to celebrate. All that he has known has once more changed. Only the uncertainty remains.
