Diplomatic and refined, Vitra could be considered the clan's unofficial leader. While Cedar is the face of the clan, she's truly the dragon that handles all disputes and everything that ever goes on. She looks over the Burrows with care and will handle all possible leaderly roles. Vitra is extremely clever socially and academically, usually using her wits to solve issues. She believes in peace above all, though recognizes that not all problems can be solved with words, and will not hesitate to fight any offender.

Vitra may come off as aloof and cold to those who first observe her, treating minor trouble with a casual disregard. She may come off as callous, though is truly caring for those in the Burrows and others she values. She would defend every last dragon until her death.

She does not care much for children, though has had many of her own. She refuses to take mates and will usually leave the care of any hatchlings she has to a surprised father or to Freckle. Vitra has little maternal instinct and often becomes annoyed and snappy with children, though will always protect them.

Hailing from a plague clan, Vitra was trained as a fearsome warrior since birth. The clan had the mentality of "eat or be eaten," and Vitra had to claw her way to survival despite many instances of abuse. She moved to the Burrows as an adult with her familiar Mizuchi, and carries trauma from her childhood with the plague clan. She tends to become automatically distrustful of most plague dragons.

Though normally calm, Vitra will lash out with no hesitation if anyone harms her or those she cares about. She proves to be fierce in battle, her time in her former clan drilling her for all sorts of combat. She makes a formidable enemy.

She dislikes being touched unless she is the one initiating contact. It is not known as to why, but it is suspected by others it has to do with her past.

While not often seen with Mizuchi, the two share a bond that is never questioned by any dragon.
