During the short, but great, battle between Light and Earth, Baneer and Rune left the clan to go and help with the efforts. Not long after the battle had ended, Baneer came back.
Unimpressed with the Lightweaver and the duties she was having him carry out, Baneer had left her realm and made his way back to the Sunbeam Ruins almost the minute the battle had ended.
His return surprised Isen, but Electrya was almost expecting it. "Why are you surprised?", she asked Isen, "You know what Baneer is like. He's never satisfied with anything."
"If you're coming back, the least you can do is make yourself useful," Electrya told Baneer as she handed him a huge, messy file, "We found this with Rune's belongings. It looks like he was compiling all of his useful knowledge, but wasn't quite ready to share it with the clan yet."
Baneer reluctantly accepted the mess of papers, mumbling something about "finding someone else to take care of this junk" as he stomped away.
"Are you sure he won't just tear them up?" Isen asked, giving Electrya a questioning look.
"Oh, don't worry," Electrya said with a smile, "Baneer can't stand disorder."

I... don't remember where Baneer came from, or why he ended up in my lair, but he doesn't seem to want to leave. He was briefly exalted at the end of a dom battle but I kept regretting it and restored him soon after - I'm still not sure why!
