The clan Mage, Gleal is as excitable as he is smart. Despite being a Mage, he enjoys playing tricks on his clan mates, and is almost always entirely responsible for random changes in color or traits among dragons in the clan. He enjoys spending time with Zera, the two often combining their abilities to have fun planking the rest of the clan. Despite his childish nature, however, he is one of the most important and revered mages in the clan, the younger mages going to him if they have questions or concerns.

Gleal is creative, and is always working on new spells. His most recent "success" resurrected the deceased, bringing back to life Alastor, whose body was found by Gleal. The spell wasn't enough to completely bring Alastor back to life, nor save his deteriorating body, thus Alastor was stuck in a perpetually rotting-and-healing vessel. The rest of the clan saw the new spell as disgusting, thus forbade Gleal from ever using it again.

When Aiyana, a dragon known for being strongly anti-mage, stepped up to power, Gleal knew something had to be done. If nothing was done, Gleal knew Aiyana had plans to exile all mages from the clan. He confronted her in her tent, intending on talking her down. Aiyana, believing his intentions were violent, lashed out, swiping at him. Gleal, not wanting a fight, fled back to his tent.

Gleal gathered the support of the mages and Mage-supporters, and Aiyana gathered the anti-Mage supporters, plunging the clan into a civil war.
