clan alchemist
born of light and fire. her spirit, her soul was tied to a fabricated body. they chanted in foreign tongues, proud at the success of their experiment. a new dragon was reborn; in a body that wasn't hers.

her soul had been snatched before it could fully complete the departure to the afterlife. the former spiral had died of an infection. an illness. the young spiral had drifted away, held in the arms of her mourning family. she did not want to leave them. how could such a horrible fate be bestowed upon her? she had prayed to her deity every night. she was kind to her parents.

and yet. she had died. zay was rising higher and higher-

until she was dragged back into a body.

frightened, a shrill screech had torn past her maw. she lifted up on leathery wings and fled.

she had not expected to find comfort or shelter. when she had landed in fortis imperius, she had least been expected to be confronted by a ridgeback of terrifying size. she'd nearly had a heart attack then and there, until xzerczon offered refuge within his clan.

adjusting was hard at first. the troubled nocturne became obsessed with finding ways to return to original family. during her time in the fortis imperius, she grew an affinity for alchemy. zay knew that her family was out there somewhere, and her longing to be reunited with them grew. perhaps, one day, she'd set off to find them, soon.
