Aelita is very lovely. Too lovely, if you ask some of those around her. She barely knows how to work or fight, and keeps her plumage clean with a desperation that's frankly worrying. However, under her loveliness lies a lot of pain. Pain from a mother she lost, a sister she cannot trust, and a home she can never go back to.

Her pain has made her bitter and defensive, and she takes her time getting used to new dragons. Though most of the clan has made an effort to talk to her, few call her a friend. Though pleasant at first glance, Aelita trusts no-one and fraternizes with no group. This goes both ways, she is not trusted by many of the Wanderhomes, but because of her apparent weakness she isn't seen as a threat. This, however, might be a mistake.

Aelita is suspiciously quiet about how she got to the fire territory, where she and Lysander were found by Magnase. She'll lie at the drop of a hat, and nothing out of her mouth should be believed. However, her talent for telling tales has been employed in the more literal sense, and she is being trained in the arts by Eryl and Forte.
